Regardless if you are a religious person or not, the musically first rate Evensong in the magnificent building of Wells Cathedral is a deeply spiritual and moving experience. I had the joy of experiencing it once and when the area was closed off beforehand for practice I kept quiet in a corner, watching and listening to these fine musicians and drinking in the atmosphere. This digital art painting is drawn partially from several photographs and partially from my memory and impressions of this unforgettable experience.
