'Jerpoint Abbey Cloister Stone Figures' - Monochrome Photograph by Menega Sabidussi.
Some of the unique carved figures in the stone columns in the ruins of Jerpoint Abbey Cloister, County Kilkenny, Ireland. Jerpoint Abbey is a ruined Cistercian abbey, founded in the second half of the 12th century. The present ruins are very extensive and most noted for the stone carvings which one can find throughout the beautiful and tranquil site.
