It was beautiful and quiet at dusk on the shore of Lake Wolfgang (Wolfgangsee, near Salzburg, Austria), not a sound to be heard as the mist began to rise, billowing at the back of the lake. A bit eerie. The sky was still silver but the shadows of the mountains and woods had deepened to many soft shades of dark blue all reflected in the lake. To the right is the white tower of the church of the town St. Wolfgang, with its famous White Horse Inn (Weisses Roessl am Wolfgangsee). Despite the many tourists, the area never loses its very special magic that can be glimpsed at the "in between times" - such as here.

Due to the dusky lighting and soft shapes, the original photograph already had a watercolor feel to it - I only enhanced it slightly. The image will print well up to a size of 48x32".The green framed preview tool will show you the picture at 100% original...
