'St Andrew's Cross Scissor Arches of Wells Cathedral' - Stylized Photograph by Menega Sabidussi.
Christ on the cross with flanking satues in the famous scissor arches (aka St Andrew's Cross arches). At the bottom the organ is peeping through, on the ceiling is a delicate decoration with a floral motif. The unusual and distinctive arches were designed and built by mason William Joy in 1338-1348 to support a tower which was beginning to crack. The cathedral is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen, an intriguing mix of contrasts, massive and delicate at the same time, filled with light, patterns and geometric shapes flowing together.

This dove gray photograph is stylized and with added texture. It will print up to a size of 40x30". The green framed preview tool will show you the picture at 100% original size with all details included. Signed faintly set in the right circle with my personal signature symbol.
