'Jurassic Coast Quiaios Beach' - Photograph by Menega Sabidussi.
Wildly beautiful, cliff rock formation covered in bright green algae on Cabo Mondego along Quiaios beach in Portugal. This area is not only breathtakingly beautiful, the Cabo Mondego which forms the southern limit of the Beach of Quiaios, is an important geological site with rich fossil documentation and an undisturbed stratification from the Middle and Upper Jurassic Period. In 2007 it was declared a Natural Monument.
